Welcome to Neuro Physio at Home

My name is Anna, a highly specialist neuro physiotherapist with a drive for helping people with neurological conditions. My passion is to improve the lives of those suffering from a range of neurological conditions as well as those struggling with more general balance and mobility problems.

I have over ten years of experience specialising in stroke and neuro rehabilitation. Having worked in busy NHS hospitals and specialist stroke and neuro rehab units in Cardiff and Oxford, I moved into community rehab in London, where I worked as a team lead for a stroke Early supported discharge team and Community Neuro team.

I now focus on community based physiotherapy in East Devon, providing assessments, personalised rehab plans and neuro exercise classes both online and in person. This is in conjunction with my NHS physiotherapy role. I assess, treat and provide advice helping you to achieve goals which are meaningful to you — whether it’s walking to the shops, cooking dinner for friends, running a marathon or just being able to move a bit better and feel more in control!

Outside of work I am enjoy keeping active and being outdoors. In between running around after 2 young children, I enjoy running and setting myself challenges;  I have previously completed the 3 Peaks Challenge and I am about to take on my first team triathlon.

I am a real believer in the positive effects of exercise whatever your age or health condition, but I know that it's not always easy! I am dedicated to helping people get moving and realise the benefits not only for their physical health, but also their general wellbeing.
